Jessica began playing the flute at a young age, and at ten was awarded a scholarship to study at Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester with the Danish flautist Gitte Sorenson. Following this, she studied at Trinity College of Music in London, with Karen Jones and Ann Cherry. She has been teaching for over ten years, and now teaches both privately, and at King Edwards School, Witley, and also at Barrow Hills Prep School. She continues to perform regularly, both in recital settings, and with chamber ensembles and local orchestras. Jessica has been Principal Flute of Bagshot Concert Band since 2004. |
